Open Innovation Challenges
International Connections
The challenge focuses on identifying technologies and materials with significant potential for joint development, capable of delivering competitive advantages across a range of sectors .

With more than 60 years of experience in the construction sector, Altuna y Uria is seeking solutions that enable faster execution, improved technical performance and reduced environmental impact, while ensuring industrial viability and compatibility with real, industrialised construction processes.

The objective is to advance toward a smarter, more resilient, and self recovering distribution network—one that seamlessly integrates distributed resources,  enables rapid response, and operates over robust and secure communications.

Arteche is an international industrial group specializing in solutions for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy. With more than 75 years of experience, the company has established itself as a global benchmark in the development of equipment and technologies that ensure the quality, efficiency, and reliability of electrical networks.

How can we identify high‑risk situations (such as electrical hazards, work at heights, confined spaces, or the handling of heavy loads) and deliver real‑time alerts to workers to ensure a ‘zero‑accident’ safety standard?

Elecnor, the company promoting the challenge, in collaboration with BAT B Accelerator Tower, announces a Safety 4.0 challenge aimed at achieving its zero‑accident objective. The safety and health of all individuals involved in activities and services are essential values for Elecnor. Preventing workplace accidents has been part of the Group’s DNA since its foundation in 1958.

Arin Technologies seeks to identify solutions that enable a qualitative leap toward a more advanced asset‑management model, with a strong focus on anticipation, optimization, and security

Arin Technologies is a newly established company specializing in the development of advanced software for the electrical sector, created through the alliance between Arteche and Elewit (Redeia’s technology platform). Its purpose is to accelerate the digitalization of the sector by providing solutions designed to modernize and optimize electrical infrastructures, contributing to a smarter operation that is better prepared for the challenges of the energy transition.
Repsol Open Innovation Challenge on Robotics and Automation for Inspection, Maintenance, and Operation in Energy Assets

Repsol’s objective throughout the “Repsol Open Innovation Challenge on Robotics and Automation for Inspection, Maintenance, and Operation in Energy Assets” is to identify companies with which it can initiate a pilot project within a period of 3 to 6 months. If the pilot develops successfully, it may lead to follow‑up agreements involving significant scale‑up and the potential deployment of solutions across various Repsol assets at both national and international levels.
The challenge seeks technological solutions that enable the creation of compact, autonomous modules and deployable in urban environments.

Eroski, the challenge-promoting company, in collaboration with BAT B Accelerator Tower, launches an Autonomous Hyperconvenience Challenge, aimed at identifying startups, scaleups and technology companies capable of designing and deploying 24/7 modular convenience points that integrate food solutions, urban services and last mile logistics in an autonomous, scalable and low maintenance way.
