Inspired by the pioneering Slush event, the renowned global meeting of founders and venture capitalists in Helsinki, Bilbao Slush'D is more than an event: it is a movement and a dynamic bridge connecting the nascent startup ecosystem of the Bay of Biscay and the unicorn factory of Finland and Estonia.

By creating a collaborative platform where Basque and Spanish entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to connect with global venture capitalists and business angels, as well as visionary founders and ecosystem builders, Bilbao Slush'D ignites a new wave of entrepreneurial energy and innovation in the Basque Country and throughout Spain.

The mission of this event is to empower early stage startups, boost youth entrepreneurship and democratize access to venture capital, positioning the Basque region and Spain on the global map of innovation.

This initiative goes beyond traditional networking in order to cultivate impactful connections, foster growth and turn Bilbao into a key hub within the international startup ecosystem.

The official pre-event will be held on February 19, 2025 at BAT B Accelerator Tower, while the main event will take place on February 20, 2025 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC!).
